Developing the self-confidence to achieve (or simply the bravery to begin) is extremely tough if you do not respect and appreciate yourself. 1. Quit berating yourself for your shortcomings

Are the things that you think regarding yourself something you'd say to a friend or family member? If this is the case, you definately owe yourself an apology. How could you possibly fall in love with someone who believes such disparaging things about you? Even if you made a mistake, don't beat yourself up about it. Is it a big blunder that is mainly inconsequential? It's funny to think about it. Was it a serious blunder with long-term consequences? Take anything away from it. The most essential thing is to let go of your burdens and move forward.

2. Adopt a positive attitude

Concentrate on your abilities and strengths. Climb out of bed rather than crawl out of it. Consider each new day as a fresh opportunity to learn something new.

3. Show Your Appreciation

Make a list of the things for which you should be grateful. Identify the people, places, objects, and activities that offer you the most happiness. Write them down. If you take a step back, you'll discover that you have a great deal to really be thankful for.

4. Continue to Learn and Grow

Developing the skills and knowledge will assist you in developing a positive attitude and the belief that you can accomplish anything.

5. Acknowledge and accept your flaws, quirks, and weirdness

My penmanship is terrible, I can't ride a bike, I can only make three things (spaghetti, omelets, and sandwiches), and I have an unreasonable fear of bees. I'm also a terrible writer. And do you know what else? I wouldn't alter a thing about it. Be happy in your own skin, no matter how "strange" (interesting and distinctive) you may appear to others.

6. Make use of your natural abilities

Consider the top three achievements you've achieved in your life. It makes no difference to me how large or small they are. It might be anything from graduating from college to gaining a dream job, landing your first business customer, receiving an award, reducing weight, or whatever else you want to celebrate. Now, make a list of the skills and abilities you used to attain those three goals. Any similar threads which led to success that you can identify? If this is the case, you are on the correct track to greater success. To increase your self-confidence and make your flaws irrelevant, focus on your strengths which have been proved to work.

7. There will be no more comparisons

Forget about celebrities with whom you compare your physical appearance, the partnerships with which you contrast your own, and the people with whom you are so concerned with being liked. It is not necessary to compete in life. The only thing you want to do is to be a better looking version of yourself.

8. Feel confident and comfortable in your own skin

While it is important to have a body which makes you feel confident and strong, it is as important to abandon all notions of what you "should look like." You are the only one who has the authority to define what is considered "hot" and "sexy."

9. Take a Break

What is it about you that you are always in a hurry? It is OK (and even vital) to take some time to unwind. Our brains are only capable of a certain amount of processing. Disconnect from the outside world, turn off all distractions, make a bubble bath, and curl up with a nice book. You've worked hard for it.

10. Give yourself a pat on the back

We, humans are quick to criticize ourselves when we make mistakes, but we seldom seem to take the time to recognize ourselves when we achieve achievement. In most cases, success does not manifest itself in form of an existence Big Victory; rather, the road to success is comprised of a large number of tiny wins. Be grateful for every win, no matter how insignificant you may believe it to be, because this will make you feel more secure and motivated to keep moving forward.

11. Take Good Care of Yourself

Everything you consume has an impact on your energy levels levels, so choose wisely. In order to determine why you are feeling melancholy and weary, you must examine your dietary habits. Everyone responds differently with different foods, and with a little trial and error, you can find the fuel that gives you the best performance for your dollar.

12. Perform a dance routine

Parties with music are always a wonderful idea. Who says you have to have a partner? Turn on some 80's music or Broadway show tunes and begin moving. You may feel ridiculous, and you may even laugh at yourself, but it will be entertaining (and you know it).

13. Have a good time

This life is not designed to be a lengthy list of tasks to complete. What causes you to be joyful and enthusiastic? Increase your efforts in this area. In addition, before claiming that you "don't have the time," keep in mind there's no such thing as "enough time in the day." There is, however, such a thing as priorities, and creating time for fun should be one of your top priorities if you like being happy.

14. Pay Attention to the Details

When was the last time you took a long, hard look up at the full moon as well as the sparkling stars in the pitch-black sky? Is there anything you can do about trees in the backyard that are really the size of extinct dinosaurs? Has it occurred to you to pluck a flower from a park (for the sake of nasal pleasure or hair ornament) recently? You are encircled by things that are attractive.

15. Make a happy face

Smile since you are deserving of love and pleasure, and you are free to enjoy as much as the heart desires (or because you will find it difficult to remain depressed while sporting that adorable grin pasted on your face).
